The Song Birds is a one of a kind art piece I created for Gibson Custom. It was one of a handful of highly carved Les Pauls that featured a leathery, satin Tung Oil finish, hand hammered Copper appointments, and a Biblical Scripture inscribed in the rim.

• Bound Ebony Fingerboard and Head Veneer with inlaid copper branches, mother of pearl birds and abalone leaves.
• Bas relief carved Mahogany Back and Neck Heel with Song Birds and Branches.
• Carved Bird with Copper inlaid wings and tail at Volute of the Neck.
• 7A Quilted Maple Top, stained Robin’s Egg Blue.
• Rim hand inscribed: The Time of the Songbirds is Come… Song of Solomon 2:12
